Seattle Cascadia Away Match Trip

October 7th started out early as the Whitecaps front office staff and supporters gathered outside of BC Place before getting on the buses and beginning our journey to Lumen Field in our last Cascadia match of the Season. The buses were made up of supporters from Prawnsiders, RainCity Brigade, Vancouver Albion and the Vancouver Sisters.

We had possibly too much fun on the buses as we headed down to Seattle after a quick stop at Cost Cutters to pick up some snacks and libations. We had some trivia and prizes courtesy of the Whitecaps, congratulations to all the winners.

Next part of the trip was a stop to eat, drink and enjoy some games at Hatback Bar and Grille. The beers were delicious and there was a Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest!

After the Hatback Bar and Grille we were off to march to Lumen Field to cheer on to the Whitecaps and show of the Cascadia Cup. The King of Cascadia and his Royal Court were in attendance as well. Lots of cheering, chanting, laughing and fun was had.

Thanks again to the Whitecaps and all the staff for arranging the trip down to Seattle. Fun was had by all and we clinched a home playoff game position after a 0-0 draw with the Flounders.
